Make Their Memory Shine is a movement that started in the origin point of the EU; Maastricht.

It began with Jewish students fed up with ignorance and blatant antisemitism. Jews are as much a people of today and tomorrow rather than solely the past. This counts for peoples of all background subjected to ignorance and prejudice. Therefore, it is crucial to add a modern and inclusive aspect to commemoration and the notion of collective pro-activeness.
